This interactive installation creates a cubic shape made out of foam that can be transformed into other dynamic forms. The materials were bought from a neighbor who lost his dwellings forcing him to move his possessions in sponge-lined boxes to protect what he valued most. The intent is to capture the distillation of loss into repurposed concrete forms. It talks about individual memory and collective mythology through the materiality of the objects.
